Role and Responsibilities
We are searching to find an experienced and accomplished sales executive to drive new revenue by signing publishers to use Offerpal monetization services. This individual contributor will be responsible for developing and closing new business within Social Media, Online Gaming, and Virtual Worlds. Offerpal Media is positioned for greater than 100% growth in 2010 and beyond - we are looking for the right sales people to take advantage of this tremendous revenue opportunity.
- Identify and close new game developer inventory - this role is for a Hunter-Closer; meet/exceed target sales goals.
- Plan, prepare, and execute high impact meetings with prospects and partners.
- Identify and develop a strong understanding of core objectives and challenges.
- Maximize revenue growth within existing accounts/territory.
- Adopt the corporate selling methodology.
- Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of Offerpal Media's products and services.
- Represent Offerpal Media at industry events and conferences.
- Accurately forecast revenue growth; achieve revenue goals as defined by management.
- Execute in a fast-paced, team environment.
Success in this role will be achieved by the Account Executive
- Exceeding quota within the first three months
- Winning at least 75% of competitive sales situations
- Being seen internally as the champion of the customer
Professional Experience and Personal Qualities
- A record of selling success for 3-5+ years working in online/offline advertising sales or affiliate marketing.
- Successful experience selling to Social Media, Open Web, Online Gaming Sites, and Virtual Worlds.
- Experience with performance-based online advertising is ideal.
- A history of meeting and exceeding annual sales quotas between $2.5 million and $5 million.
- An undergraduate degree in Marketing, Sales, or Advertising is ideal.
- Superb organization skills, a proactive nature.
- A commitment to providing positive customer service and following-through to close deals and build relationships.
- Proficiency with salesforce.com and MS Office.
