Important update of JA Page Builder server issue

Dear valued customers,

We are very sorry about the inconvenience you got with the JA Page builder in the last 3 days. We would like the give you the details of the issue and what we can do for you.

During the recent server update, the system admin accidentally deleted the JA Page Builder database without backup. And users could not edit pages or create new pages.

The server works now

You can create new page with the page builder and edit it with the builder tool. But with the pages you built before, you can not edit with the builder tool, you can edit the content in the database (recommended for developers – check the guide in the second section).

Do not edit your pages you created before October 8th

Since the JA Page Builder database lost, your page structure stored in JA Page builder database can not be restored. When you edit the page you created before October 8th, you will see the blank page, do not save it, otherwise, your data will be lost.

Options to resolve the issue?

1. Guide to update your content from phpmyadmin – recommended for developers

For content update for the page, you can do it in the database level. Please access your Phpmyadmin or similar tool, open your website database and find the table _jabuilder_pages. You can see a list of JA builder pages, click on edit button to edit content of the page.

Find the field content, the field is the page content in HTML markup.

Take backup before you edit

Pleas copy content of the field to your editor – Subline text, note++ or similar, save it for backup. Then make a new file to edit the content, copy the new updates back to the content field and save.
