Sales Development Manager

Role and Responsibilities

The Sales Development Manager will manage communications from all incoming interested parties -- whether via email, phone, trade show leads, or customer onboarding. This sales individual must ensure that all new Offerpal users have a delightful initial customer experience. With the potential partner, the Sales Development Manager will review all the benefits of using the Offerpal platform and ensure that customers have an easy implementation of the product. Offerpal Media is positioned for greater than 100% growth in 2009 and beyond - we are looking for the right sales people to take advantage of this tremendous revenue opportunity.

Additional responsibilities include

  1. Manage incoming inquiries about the Offerpal platform
  2. Qualify incoming sales leads
  3. Facilitate the resolution of any technical issues during the onboarding process
  4. Document all customer interactions in the contact management system (salesforce.com)
  5. Manage ad hoc projects as asked by the department leader
  6. Reengage with under-producing accounts to utilize the Offerpal platform

Success in this role will be achieved by the Sales Development Manager

  1. Processing all Incoming inquiries in queue by the end of each business day
  2. Entering all necessary customer data into the contact management system
  3. Converting a high percentage of incoming inquiries
  4. Reviving and converting under-performing accounts into producing accounts

Professional Experience and Personal Qualities

  • 2-3 years working with social networking systems or online advertising
  • 2-3 years working in a telesales or customer support telecenter
  • College degree preferred
  • Solid experience with Salesforce.com; excellent experience with MS Office applications
  • Basic understanding of technology to facilitate technical support
  • Must be able to manage multitask several position responsibilities while prioritizing effectively
  • Looking to move upward in a sales career
  • Good verbal communication skills and telephone skills
  • Emotional intelligence, a problem solver, and a grounded, mature person
  • Flexibility, resourcefulness, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
