Seasoned Software Engineering Manager/Director

Role and Responsibilities:

We are searching to find an Engineering Manager to guide the technical development of our Managed Offer Platform. This seasoned manager must be a talented, highly motivated, and technically-oriented leader who will help shape a world-class Web Platform Engineering team. This engineering expert will play a crucial role in establishing our platform functionality and help in the weekly deliver of the fresh features and functionality that keeps our users engaged. Our work environment is fast-paced and based on an Agile product development methodology with user-centric design and development cycles. • Lead and develop a world-class technology team across multiple locations
• Innovate and continuously improve product delivery predictability, reduce response times, and streamline development processes
• Drive technical product design, influence product requirements and testing methods
• Work closely with Product Management, QA, Customer Services, Support, and other development teams
• Manage product delivery against conflicting priorities and resource constraints and identify and manage project risks appropriately and drive weekly release cycles

Professional Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience in software development, including 5+ years as a hands-on manager
• A deep understanding of software, systems, and computer technology
• Experience building high-performance systems with 10M+ unique visitors/month, 100M+ page views/month
• A history of successfully delivering world-class solutions to the enterprise
• Background with web-based consumer platforms in Linux, Apache MySQL, and Java is desirable
• A track record as a successful manager: building, mentoring, and coaching great teams, including the ability to motivate people, instill accountability, and achieve results
