I may be reaching a little bit here with this reference to a song released before many of us were born, but I felt it was appropriate and I’m sure you’ve heard. It just so happens that the English singer/songwriter, John Robert “Joe” Cocker OBE, who wrote the song was born on May 20th.Before I get too far off on a tangent, let me share why I felt it was so fitting. With a little help from my/our/your friends, we can work together to connect these opportunities with the right person. The person with a desire to help, a desire to share their talent, and most of all a willingness to be a part of this growing international community.

We are looking for help in the following areas, please think about you, your friends and their friends to see if anyone would be willing to help.

With that, these are this month’s positions we are looking for help for.

MediaWiki Administrator

The Joomla Documentation team (JDocs) is looking for a MediaWiki administrator.  This person will assist the team with JDocs.  For the best fit, the person should have good experience with the backend, plugins and updating MediaWiki. Are you the right person? Know someone who might be?

Contact JDocs and tell Mike Bradner I sent you.

For this next set of opportunities, I’m going to present them as I received them.  Many have been wondering about our certification program and we’re looking to ramp things up again, but first, we need a little help.  Please read through them carefully and reach out to Chris Keen to let him know you’re interested (and of course tell him I sent you).
